If bushing does get damaged it can be replaced separately instead of buying a new complete control arm like dodge will tell you. Feb 21, Discussion Starter #1 Nov 3, Well looks like I have encountered the poorly designed 'control arm bushing' for the front struts on my Dodge Ram. And apparently no one (from Moog, to local auto-part stores, to Dodge themselves) has taken the initiative to design this bushing separately from the entire control arm!
Especially when everything seems to be seized. Rusted out and seized struts bolts lower an upper is a torch save time. Caution Do not cut the strut cylinde. Dodge Ram 4WDFront Lower Shock And Strut Mount Bushing by DEA.
